my experience with extreme has been extremely disappointing. Juniper has some really good stuff going on right now, but I still prefer Avaya (well, Nortel) Data Equipment because of RSMLT, etc. The equipment is extremely stable. The only thing that would push me towards Juniper is security. I don't see Avaya making any additions to security features on the 8000 series chassis. Avaya, just add some dang ACL features to the 86/8800 systems.
