Default blocking unknown caller using vm pro

Hi there,

Is there a way to route “unknown caller” calls to a voicemail indicating “we do not accept calls from blocked numbers…” on Avaya IP Office Server Edition Release 11.0.4.

Easy(ish) ('ish' because a lot depends on the complexity of your existing configuration).

Create you model, lets say for example called "NoCLI".

In the IP Office configuration, make a copy of the existing main incoming call route. Add ! to the "Incoming CLI" field of that copied call route. Set the destination to "VM:NoCLI".

That will then match any calls where the caller has withheld their CLI and route them to your module.

If you really want, create another call route with ? in the Incoming CLI field. That will match calls where their is no CLI which is different from cases where the caller has withheld the CLI. Doing this may affect some genuine callers who you don't want to lose.
