We have had to add an expansion module to our legacy Avaya system - after reboot it is not recognizing or finding it - and I can't seem to search and find it either.
Does anyone have any tips or things to try? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! |

Without knowing what type of IP Office system, what mode it is running in and what type of expansion module its very hard to give any advice.

Once the module is connected, power down everything and boot the auxiliary modules first. Then, boot the main unit. The IPO won't recognize the modules on boot-up unless they're already initialized.

Your new modules may be on a higher firmware release than the control unit.
Power up the expansion modules first, then the control unit, then select the upgrade wizard in Manager If it is an IPO 500 V2, the upgrade should happen automatically from the SD card, but if it is a V1 or even a 406, you'll have to do it manually |
