Trying to assist a fellow tech who is working with his IT person and having issues installing ASA SP 14
IT tech is logged in as administrator but getting an error saying "Site administration is currently running" even though it is not. IT tech has not been able to find any services that might be hindering this. Any direction would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Strange. ASA doesn't run as a service. I've seen some install issues caused by corruption of the persist.dat file.
C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Avaya\Site Administration\user\persist.dat Try replacing it with one from a fresh install or known working instance. Note saved connections will be lost. |

Thank you - they were able to get a file from one of our managers and got it installed.
