I have not been able to get this running in the collaboratory (though everything works fine running the ContextStore SDK sample client from my desktop).

I added the following line immediately before the call to 'getContextStoreWebService("135.169.17.45");'

Code:
System.setProperty("cs.sdk.http", "yes");
I see the same log messages as before.

Also, when the code to connect to the ContextStore executes, the snapin is no longer able to intercept calls. If I comment out the getContextStoreWebService call, then calls are intercepted.

Hi Dennis,

Could you send me on the log files so I can investigate your issue.

Kind Regards,
Yvonne

Default Update regarding secure / unsecure access to Context Store via SDK

There are several conditional paths through this SDK to Context Store, secure and and non-secure being the obvious options but the other important factor is whether the application is running on Avaya Breeze or as a standalone Java application.

The security workaround I’d provided previously, (set property “cs.sdk.http” with value "yes"), is specific to standalone Java applications using the SDK.

When running on the Breeze platform, a different property is checked to allow an unsecure connection: property name = “cs.sdk.direct.rest.url”, value = “3.2.0.0.360” for CS 3.2 GA (this value must match the version of CSRest installed on the Context Store cluster)

(This information been provided to dbrund via email. Updating this threads information for other users employing the Context Store Java SDK)
