What is the Type of extension you are using:
Pure SIP (or) SIP phone with CM features ( SIP phone with optim station on CM) For Pure SIP - after creating a User on System Manager (without CM features) , you dont need to configure anything except the User name / IS on your SIP UA (x-lite, SJ phone). For SIP phone with CM features, you need to check the traces on Session Manager using the command: #traceSM -x and identify what is happening. If you see the User defined as @unknow in the SIP traces then you have to configure the following forms on the CM: ch public-unknow-numbering ch private-number Add the SIP trunk you are using with prifix to allow the User name identifies on the traces. |

In order to get caller name display, you must have a CM Feature or Evolution server.
