Solution Confirmed Custom Ringtones

Afternoon All,

We've installed Avaya 9611G phones throughout our offices recently; around 90 new phones.

As you can imagine, there are quite a few 'double-ups' on ringtones.

I notice that there are USB ports on the back, and wonder if there is a way to import custom ringtones into the phone?

I realise that the USB port is used more for contacts, logins and imaging purposes, however I'm just looking to see if there is a way to do this, even outside using the USB port.

If using H.323 software on the 9611G, you cannot add custom ringtones.

If using SIP 6.3.0 or later software on the 9611G, you can import custom ringtones via the http/https file server.

Thanks for the reply, mate.

I've downloaded the file server programme, but I'm having some issues on getting ringtones onto the phone through this method.

Could you elaborate any further with some instructions possibly?
