Hi all, I just inherited our hospital phone system three weeks before upgrading from a Definity G3 to Aura 6.3 (completed a month ago.) I'm completely new to managing the phones but figuring it out. We currently have a couple 302c consoles with the button modules used by the switchboard. Two 9641G phones with the extra button modules were purchased with the upgrade to replace the old consoles. I can't find any info on using this phone as an attendant console so is this actually a viable idea? If so, could someone point me in the right direction for documentation? If not, what is the "proper" console for a new Aura system? I'd prefer IP over digital so it could easily be relocated in case of emergency.
Thanks, Bill |

As far as i know , there is no equivalent replacement product in IP for the attendant console. Others can shed light if they are aware.
Alternate thing close to it is using One-X Attendant Console (PC based), you can use a hardphone for voice and PC One-X Att software for managing calls, queue, address book, hundreds busy monitoring , etc... Well one can use most features with an 96xx IP Phone with button modules, but not get the hundreds group button or busy lamp monitoring or attendant queueing, and few others may be .. |

Thanks for the info. That's kind of what I thought. I'll stick with the existing consoles for now and research the PC based console.
