Question Expierence Portal Password Reset and SSO

All,
I have been looking at tools to automate password resets for my H323 and SIP Clients within Avaya Aura. My current vendor has a tool that allows Self Service for these without helpdesk interaction. As we know today in order to reset the password it requires that you know the old password. This just wont work for my current workforce. Security is asking if AURA has the capabilities to AUTH through an IDP internally so that you dont have to remember the old password or have third party offsite software connectivity. I have looked through all the documents, but cant find anything specific this. The vendor stated that there is no native way to do this, but I thought I would ask the group.

An Update here. It looks like in version 8.1.3.0.293 that other IDP are available. We are using OKTA and it is noted here. I am unsure if this will allow phone logins and do away with the know your password issue,

OAuth2 has been updated to support diverse clients and IDPs Updated client scope and new URL redirects. This extends the list of supported client to Avaya Equinox Unified Portal Avaya Equinox Add-in for Microsoft Outlook Support for ADFS, Ping, Okta and OneLogin Identity providers. This extends the list of supported IdP to: Siteminder (used by OnAvaya and Alpha) Shibboleth Office 365 (Azure AD using Oauth2 or SAML) Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Ping Identity Okta OneLogin
