Question Phone 9620 VPN, VPN phones not allowed, IPO 9.1

Hello!

I set up a tunnel between IP Phone 9620 and Cisco ASA.

Tunnel works, but when the phone 9620 connects to the IPO via VPN, IPO monitor displays the message:

H323Evt: Recv GRQ from 0a1505e6
H323Evt: e_H225_AliasAddress_dialedDigits alias
H323Evt: found number <210>
H323Evt: Recv: RegistrationRequest 10.21.5.230; Endpoints registered: 0; Endpoints in registration: 0
H323Evt: e_H225_AliasAddress_dialedDigits alias
H323Evt: found number <210>
H323Evt: RRQ --- CallSigProtocol is H323AnnexL_P. Go for Avaya VPN phone
H323Evt: RRQ --- Extn(210) VPN phones not allowed

On the telephone display "Wrong Set Type" and the phone is not connected to the IPO.

The parameter "VPN phone allowed" does not exist in tab: Extension > VoiP

How is the phone configured to connect to the IP Office? Is it using the ASA as a VPN gateway or are you trying to VPN into the IP Office directly?

Hello!

ASA as a VPN gateway.
The 9620 (and 9640) connects to Cisco ASA (connected successfully), and then to IPO 9.1 (SP6).

The same problem is described here: http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1723713
As a result, they did downgrade to IPO 8...
