Default Caller ID No Longer Shows Outgoing Number

Good Morning,
In Voicemail Pro, we added a menu in the Modules that plays a message when an extension is dialed, it then transfers the call to the employee extension. We have noticed that now, if you call outside of the system it shows our main (800#) phone number on caller id as opposed to the direct number (as it did before the menu) from the phone that is calling out. Why would adding a menu affect what number appears on external caller id? I guess I am lost, maybe there is a setting somewhere that I changed that keeps all internal numbers behind the main number wall. Those numbers who we didn't add the menu to still show the direct line number on caller id when calling outside. Thank you for your help.

I think it is because the vm is making the call not the extn.

Not sure if this would work, but if you were able to use a shortcode with feature Dial and Telephone number set to NSXXXXXXXXXXX (X denoting number to be sent)
