Default Scopia Desktop Testing

Hello everyone!

Not exactly sure where to post this, so I thought I'd start here. Just wanted to know what you do for Scopia Desktop testing. Currently I have a virtual room open all day that auto calls an endpoint in which is pointing at a poster on a wall for users of Scopia Desktop to call.

I've seen some other video platforms actually have a video with sound and video playback for testing. Has anyone found such a solution for Scopia?

I'd love to know what you have set up for your own Scopia testing.

Thanks!

Andrew

Default Scopia Desktop Testing

Hi Andrew,

What exactly do you want to test, or achieve by this test?

Tried Scopia once with Avaya on the phone for 3 hours trying to connect to a LifeSize setup in our office and it was a nightmare.

Anyway, just google VTC test sites, as long as the desktop client supports H.323 video conferencing you should be good. This is one of my favorite test sites to use since it works almost all of the time -

Also, Polycom has a list of test sites somewhere if you can find it and some of them play a demonstration. I've had the best success testing with their site in Israel and the worst was testing with any of the US sites.
