Default Another one- Version 7.0.27 voice mail fail

We have a pharmacist that bought a Partner Version 7.0. We updated it to a 7.0. 27. During training we showed them how to use the voice mail retrieve button but we just got beeps. We took out the SD card, reformatted it, and the customer had to re-record all their voice mail prompts. Since then it seems everything has been stable. Why did the 7.0.27 card do this? The customer was not happy and it looked like we installed a defective product. did we do something wrong?

It is difficult to say where the SD card came from. It may not have been the original one. They did the right thing to reformat it. When you reformat the SD card it does erase all existing programming on the card.
