Our organization uses Avaya phones system-wide. The model # is 9608. The visual message indicator on our HR manager's phone doesn't light up to indicate she has voice messages waiting. We're perplexed as to why it doesn't light up. Is this merely a phone setting issue or is this a programming issue? I turned on the "Visual Alerting" option but apparently this isn't the same as being a visual message indicator. Any help would be appreciated!

whats the messaging type, you would have to check if messaging server is sending the set request to light the lamp
