Default Drop key of 9608G ip phone

Dear all,

We are new to ip office, and we have Avaya ip office 500 v2 of release 10.1

Also we have ip phones of model 9608G running using h323 protocol.

My question is about drop button.

During the incoming call I.e. when the ip phone is ringing, if I press drop button, the caller is getting transferred to the voice mail, and start hearing this recording "your call has been answered by avaya ..."
While I want drop button in this case to disconnect the caller without this transfer. Only disconnect him.

Could you please advise how drop button will disconnect the caller, without transfer him to vm.

Your fast response is highly appreciated.

Kind regards,
