Default Ipad Communicator conferencing

I recently setup a working SIP environment (system/session manager) with an Ipad using the avaya communicator. Everything works fine except for merging calls. From everything I've read I would need to buy aura conferencing licenses? Can anyone weigh in on this topic?

I opened a ticket with Avaya and thankfully they were able to help me out. For IOS Avaya Equinox is the app you need to use for ad-hoc conferencing (merge calls). You will need the Conferencing license if you use the communicator app. In addition, the tech instructed me to set up The application/Sequence Editor in System Manager. I am including a doc that shows the steps.
