Problem Clarification

Error getting on webpage while adding user
"failed to add user "

Cause

When try to add the user from shell prompt using cmuseradd command got below error.

[root@GURADMINCM02 sbin]# cmuseradd super-user -C 20 sachintest
/opt/ecs/bin/cmuseradd: line 2131: /usr/sbin/asguseradd: No such file or directo ry
cmuseradd |ERR: asguseradd failed with code 127

Further checking /usr/sbin folder found that below files were missing.

asguseradd

asguserdel

asgusermod

Solution

After coping those files from another working CM server issue resolved.
