IPOSE 12.3 with Exp System IP500v2s
Call flow:
User > IPC Trader 3rd party PBX > SIP Line to IP500v2 Exp System > PRI Line > Service Provider
-This SIP Line configuration is new set up and never worked before. Previously, they used a QSIG PRI Line integrating the IPC Trader PBX without issue, but they have now switched to a SIP Line.
-Initially, I found incorrect config in the ICR. They have Incoming Number set to . (dot), so the IPO does not even route the call to the PRI line. After removing this entry, IPO now routes the call out to the PRI line but the Setup message does not have Calling number nor Called number.
Problem Clarification
A user from a 3rd party PBX calling an external number which routes to the SIP Line to the IP500v2 Exp System is failing.
Cause
Configuration problem in the ICR and Short Code.
Solution
Set ICR Destination to . (dot) and the Short Code is 9N and Telephone Number is NSS. Now, Calling number and Called number are being passed to PRI line. Outgoing calls are working fine now.
