    MM 5.2 Digit Decoding/Recognition Problem

I have MM 5.1 with MSS and 2 MAS's, all on 8730 servers, with QSIG integration.

One MAS (yes, only one of them) will not decode digits from IP phones or Callmasters. The digit entry does not show up when watching traces. It's like you're not dialing anything. When you call and get the other server, no problems. Both servers use the same trunk group and signalling group. I have swapped the DS1 card in the PBX for the offending server, no change.

    Anyone have any ideas?

are the DS1's in different port networks?

Are the MedPro/Crossfire cards in the other PN ok?

try a trace with the /q option - see if CM can recognise you pressing the keys.

      Hi Justin,

Please raise a ticket with Modular Messaging or Switch backbone to troubleshoot this issue.

It is very difficult to determine what's going on when 1 MAS can decode digits and the other can't.

      Thank you!
      Regards,

      Priya
