System Date and Time is used to control the Business Schedule. It is also used to stamp each message that is deposited into the subscriber's mailbox. The subscriber can obtain that information by listening to the message header

  •  Partner Mail is unable to receive the date and time information from the Partner communications system. The date and time for the Partner Mail must be set separately from the date and time and the Partner communications system
  •  Partner Mail VS, Partner Messaging and Partner Voice Messaging all receive the date and time information from the Partner Communications system. While using one of these voice mail solutions, refer to "How do I program System Time" document number: SOLN113453 and "The date is incorrect on the telephones and/or voice mail messages" document number: SOLN113872.

 A guide for updating the system date and time on the Partner Mail voice mail  system.

  1. Call the voice mail system
  2. In most systems this can be accomplished by dialing "Intercom" followed by 777
  3. Some systems may have a "Voice Mail Access" button programmed, pressing this will also call the voice mail system
  4. Log into the System Administrator's mailbox (Factory default setting for the System Administrator's mailbox number is 9997)
  5. If the System Administrator's mailbox password is not known, Avaya's technical support can reset this password. This service may be billable.
  6. Press [ 9 ]  to access the System Administration Menu
  7. Enter the System Administration Menu password.  If the System Administration Menu password is not known, Avaya's technical support can reset this password. This service may be billable
  8. Choose option [ 3] to administrate the schedule
  9. Press [ 1 ] to update the date and time
  10. Enter the current date followed by the pound sign [#]
  11. Enter the current time followed by the pound sign [#]
  12. Disconnect or dial [ *]  [*] [ 9] to disconnect from the voice mail system
