This article covers procedure on how to change the unix date and time on the CMS.

  1. The CMS attains its time from the switch.
  2. The CMS also has its own unix date and time.
  3. This can be seen by typing date, and change at root level via the following command: 

date mmddHHMMyy

 

mm = month

dd = day

HH = hour

MM = minute
