
Assign speech recognition configuration screens
You can do any one of the following:
- Assign speech recognition type
- Assign speech recognition server
Fields
The following fields are displayed by the browser:
- Base port � The starting port number. This is a number between 1024 and 65000.
- Ports � The number of ports supported on the system (1-48 for T1 or VoIP-only, 1-60 for E1)
- Recognition Type � The type of speech recognition being used
- Server IP address � The IP address of the server
- Server name � The name assigned to a speech proxy server. The name must be a name that is defined in the resource�s .cfg file.
- Share or Share Base Port?-- Whether or not all ports use the base port. If no, the system will auto-increment the ports, starting with the base port.
- Speech configuration file � The configuration file used by the protocol. This includes a direct path to the file.
- Speech filter � If y, then the proprietary mu-law speech filter is used. If n, the G7.11 voice transmission goes directly to the speech recognizer. The value depends on the speech engine used. The capacity is generally low when y is the value.
- Speech protocol � The library to be used. This includes a specific path to the library.
