
Administering digital interfaces
Using the Web Administration interface
To administer digital interfaces using Web Administration:
- Display the current assignments.
- Choose Configuration Management > Switch Interfaces > Digital Interfaces from the main menu.
The browser displays the Digital Interfaces screen.
- Choose Protocols.
The browser displays the Digital Interfaces Protocols screen.
- Choose Display Assignments.
The browser displays a list of currently assigned cards and their associated protocols.
- Assign a protocol.
- Go back to the Digital Interfaces Protocols screen (see Steps 1a and 1b or use the Back button on your browser).
- Choose Assign Card.
- Choose a digital protocol.
- Fill in the fields on the Assign Card screen and click Submit.
These fields include the Card you want to assign the protocol to, along with information specific to the protocol.
Note:
If no cards appear in the Card field, there are no unassigned cards for the type of card.
- Stop and restart the voice system (see Stopping and starting the voice system).
Using the command-line interface
To administer digital interfaces using the command-line interface:
- Use the nms assign command.
- Stop and restart the voice system (see Stopping and starting the voice system).
