Determining the software release

To determine the current software release:

1. If necessary, log in as root.
2. At the command prompt, type pkginfo -l AVvs and press Enter.

   The system displays a message similar to the following:

   PKGINST: AVvs
NAME: Runtime Processing Package
CATEGORY: IVR
ARCH: sparc.sun4u
VERSION: 1.0.026
VENDOR: Avaya Inc.
PSTAMP: mav220021112110202
INSTDATE: Nov 18 2002 11:59

150 executables
4 setuid/setgid executables
71869 blocks used (approx)

   The first two numbers of the VERSION show the major release number, in this case 1.0.
