Using uploadcdh with multiple systems

The uploadcdh cron job can be used to upload CDH data from multiple Avaya IR systems into a single database. To use uploadcdh this way, do the following:

1. Create another user for the database, and give the user permission to do the following with the database:
   • Connect
   • Create tables
   • Create an index
   • Insert records
2. Set up the FCDH_DESTDIP or the Database CDH configuration with the newly created username and password.
3. If you are using File CDH, set up the DBDIP configurations with the new user for the DBDIP specified in the FCDH_DESTDIP parameter. If you are using Database CDH, supply the new user and password information in the form.
4. If you choose one of the DBDIP configurations for FCDH_DESTDIP, that DIP needs to be restarted after the configuration change. If you choose Database CDH, it needs to be restarted.
