Description
This package includes additional software that is required to interface with the SpeechWorks Speechify Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine for VoiceXML and TAS applications. The package includes the Speechify 2.1.3 client software. This client software supports both Speechify 2.1.3 and 2.1.5 server software.
TAS applications work with all the languages available for Speechify.
Note:
For TAS, Japanese supports the following for charset: UTF-8, UTF-16, EVC, and Shift-JIS. TAS applications need to use the ProxyLang external function to set charset, otherwise Shift-JIS is used as the default.
VoiceXML applications for Avaya IR only work with the following Speechify languages:
This package is dependent on the Speech Proxy package (AVsproxy) and the Proxy Text-To-Speech package (AVttsprxy).
Installation of this package is protected by password and must be performed by Avaya or a certified third-party service provider. Contact Avaya for more information.
