Signaling group ports and channels specified on the Avaya IR system must be consistent with signaling groups and ports specified on the MultiVantage system. Mapping between the Avaya IR system VoIP channel assignments and the MultiVantage system trunk port specifications is summarized in the table that follows.

Avaya IR Channels	MultiVantage Trunk Ports
0 ďż˝ 30	Ports 1 ďż˝ 31, which are controlled by the first MultiVantage signaling group with Far-end Listen Port set to 5005.
31 ďż˝ 61	Ports 1 ďż˝ 31, which are controlled by the second MultiVantage signaling group with Far-end Listen Port set to 5015.
62 ďż˝ 92	Ports 1 ďż˝ 31, which are controlled by the third MultiVantage signaling group with Far-end Listen Port set to 5025.

Notice that the:

Signaling Group Port parameters specified on the Avaya IR system match the corresponding Far-End Listen Port parameters on the MultiVantage.
Number of channels in each signaling group is the same, but the channel numbering is sequential through signaling groups on Avaya IR channels, and starts over with each signaling group on the MultiVantage system.
