Importing a recording

To import a recording

Before importing a WAV file, save it in the audio format that you are using.

From the Edit menu, choose the Insert command to insert a new prompt. Alternatively, select the prompt you want to replace with the imported recording.

From the File menu, choose the Import command.

Locate the WAV file you want to import using the standard Windows Open dialog box.

Click OK.

The current prompt is replaced with the contents of the WAV file.

Note: Importing a recording applies to the complete prompt only. If the Waveform view is active and a range is selected, the range is ignored.
