Assigning a Menu action

The Menu action presents the caller with a menu. A menu usually plays a prompt and then provides the caller with a series of numbered choices.

To assign a menu action

  1. Display the General property page.
  2. Under Action type, select Menu.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Menu options.  Select one of the following:
    •      — Menu only. Provides a single digit menu interface to a greeting with no attached actions.

           — Menu with extension. Provides a single digit menu interface and routes the call to the multi-digit extension number entered by the caller.

           — Menu with mailbox. Provides a single digit menu interface and routes the call to the multi-digit mailbox number entered by the caller.

           — Menu with caller application. Routes a call to another caller application.

    • Cancel destination node.  Select a node for the call to transfer to if a caller cancels the current operation.
  4. Click OK or Apply.
