Introduction to caller applications

Caller Applications software enables you to enhance and extend the telephone user interface (TUI) by creating additional menus and prompts. For example, you can create a caller application that automates call handling and routes incoming calls directly to departments within your organization.

Caller Applications software

The Caller Applications software consists of two components:

Caller Applications Editor

Caller Applications Editor consists of Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-ins and extensions. It is added to the Avaya Messaging Application Server menu during installation.

Caller Applications Runtime

Caller Applications Runtime is a messaging application server (MAS) subsystem that executes caller applications. It must be installed on all the MASs in the voice mail domain.
