Configuring application properties

You configure application properties in the Application property page.

Note: This is page only available at the caller application level.

To configure application properties

  1. In the console tree, click on the caller application.
  2. From the Action menu, select Properties.
  3. Choose the Application property page.
  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Default operator.  Select to route the call to the default receptionist defined as the default for the voice mail domain.
    • To use this option, you must ensure that a default receptionist mailbox number has been configured for the voice mail domain.

    • Custom operator.  Select to route the call to a custom operator defined for the caller application. Enter an extension number for the custom operator.
    • Default cancel.  Select the node to which the call is routed if the caller cancels an operation.
    • Default cancel key.  Select the key the caller uses to cancel the operation.
    • Languages in caller application.  Lists the caller application languages.
    • Design for VMD.  Select if you want to specify the voice mail domain where the caller application will be deployed. Values, such as the mailbox length, will be applied to the caller application. This information is not a prerequisite for building a caller application but is useful if you are editing caller applications offline and cannot easily access voice mail domain information.
  5. Click OK or Apply.
