Enabling ports

Enabling a port means bringing it back into service so that it is available for incoming or outgoing calls.

To enable a port

  1. In the Port States window, select the port. You can select multiple ports by holding down the Shift key or Control key and clicking on the ports you require.
  2. Click the Enable button or choose Enable from the Change State menu. Alternatively, right-click and choose Enable from the pop-up menu.
