Configuring attendant schedules
|
Use the Attendant Schedules property page to set up attendant schedule properties for a voice mail domain. You can edit, copy, rename and delete existing schedules, and create new schedules.
The Attendant Schedule defines the availability of a subscriber’s personal operator. A subscriber can configure an extension number as a personal operator number. The personal operator replaces the system-wide operator during the times specified in the Attendant Schedule.
To display the Attendant Schedules property page
- In the Voice Mail System Configuration window, choose the voice mail domain.
- Choose Telephone User Interface.
- Select the Attendant Schedules property page.
To add a new attendant schedule
- Select the Schedules property page.
- Click the Add button.
- Type a name for the schedule and click OK. Schedule names must be unique.
To copy an existing attendant schedule
- Select the Schedules property page.
- Select the schedule to be copied.
- Click on the Copy As button to copy an attendant schedule.
- Type a name for the schedule and click OK. Schedule names must be unique.
To rename an attendant schedule
- Select the Schedules property page.
- Click on the Rename button to change the name of an attendant schedule.
- Type a name for the schedule and click OK. Schedule names must be unique.
To delete an attendant schedule
Important!
Ensure that the schedule that you are deleting is not currently in use.

Tip:
If you delete a schedule by mistake, close the property sheet using the Cancel button or use the Escape key to quit without saving your changes.

- Select the Schedules property page.
- Select the name of the schedule to be deleted from the schedules list.
- Click on the Delete button to delete the attendant schedule. The schedule is deleted immediately.
To edit an attendant schedule
- Select the Schedules property page.
- Select the name of the schedule that you want to edit from the schedules list. The schedule appears in the panel at the bottom of the screen.
