Administering a Subscriber Administration access control list

If you wish to use Subscriber Options in an Administrative role, then you need to be included in the Subscriber Administration access control list.

To set up a Subscriber Administration access control list

  1. In the Voice Mail System Configuration window, choose the voice mail domain.
  2. Choose Security.
  3. Select Subscriber Administration.
  4. The Permissions for Subscriber Administration dialog box is displayed.

  5. Click the Add button.
  6. The Select Users, Computers, or Groups dialog box is displayed.

  7. Under Names, highlight the group or user you want to add to the access control list.
  8. Note: By default, the groups and users listed belong to the same Windows domain as your account. If required, you can select a different Windows domain in the List names from field.
  9. Click Add.
  10. The group or user is displayed in the lower part of the screen.

  11. Repeat Step 5 and Step 6 for all groups and users you want to add.
  12. Click OK to return to the Permissions for Subscriber Administration dialog box.
  13. Click OK in the Permissions for Subscriber Administration dialog box.
