General properties - tracing system

Use the General - Tracing System property page to configure general properties for the tracing system.

Note: If you have not installed a tracing system, Tracing System is not displayed in the Voice Mail System Configuration Window.

To display the General - Tracing System property page

In the Voice Mail System Configuration window, choose the voice mail domain.

Choose Tracing System.

Select the General property page.

To configure general tracing system properties

Complete the following fields on the General - Tracing System property page:

MAS Tracing Server Machine Name. Displays the name of the computer running the tracing system.

Home Message Application Server. Enter the home MAS for the tracing system. This is the first MAS that the tracing system connects to in order to perform its operation. The default is the home MAS for the voice mail domain. For more information on the home MAS, see Changing the home Messaging Application Server (MAS).
