General properties - text-to-speech

Use the General - Text-to-Speech property page to set the maximum number of concurrent text-to-speech conversions for a MAS.

To display the Text-to-Speech General property page

In the Voice Mail System Configuration window, choose Message Application Servers.

Choose the MAS you want to configure.

Choose Text-to-Speech.

The General property page is displayed.

To configure text-to-speech properties

Complete the following field on the Text-to-Speech General property page:

Maximum Number of Concurrent Text-To-Speech Conversions Enter a number to specify the maximum number of text-to-speech conversions allowed at any one time on the current server. The number cannot exceed the number of text-to-speech licenses purchased. The range is 2 through 24 and the default is 2.

Important! Running multiple concurrent text-to-speech conversions on a MAS may have a detrimental effect on the MAS's performance.
