Logging out of the MSS

This topic describes how to log out of the Message Storage Server (MSS).

To log out of the MSS:

1. If you are using the Messaging command prompt screens, enter exit at the enter command prompt. If you are using the web-based administration pages, continue with Step 2.

   Caution! The system will not time out on its own, and the system limits sessions to 4 concurrent uses. Typing exit each time you finish with the Messaging command prompt screen increases system security and frees up sessions.

2. Click Return to Main at the bottom of the web-based administration page.

The system displays either the Messaging Administration main menu if you are using the sa login or the Messaging Administration main menu (vm login version) if you are using the vm login.

3. Click Log Off at the bottom menu.

The system logs you out. See Logging in to the MSS if you need to log back in.
