neighbor report-alias

Associates an alias with a BGP peer.

neighbor <address> report-alias <alias>
 
no neighbor <address> report-alias
 

• address--neighbor’s IP address, in dotted decimal form (a.b.c.d)
• alias--alias to be used for neighbor

Must be in BGP configuration mode (config-engine-bgp), which requires privileged-level access.

Use once.

Use the no form of the command to remove the alias.

The alias is used by CNA when generating reports.
