Viewing the master key for a hive

To assign a Chatter module to a hive, you need the master key for the hive. The master key is used for secure and authenticated communication between all Chatter modules in the hive.

To view the master key for a Chatter module:

1. Access privileged command mode on a CNA server that currently participates in the hive. To access this mode, enter the following command: enable.
2. Enter the following command:

show chatter master-key
