Registering CNA agents with the hive
CNA agents in your network need to register with the hive so that the CNA servers in the hive can:
- Schedule tests to the agent.
- Analyze the test data.
- Share the test results so that they can include the results in their reports. Agent-based measurement reports reflect data from the entire network, not just local CNA agents.
To ensure security of communication between CNA agents and CNA servers, the registration process:
- Authenticates the identity of both the CNA agent and CNA server
- Exchanges private keys that are used encrypt and decrypt all subsequent messages between the CNA servers and CNA agents.
