Zone configuration guidelines

The following guidelines and restrictions apply to your zone hierarchy:

• Zones can either be further categorized into subzones or can contain specific CNA agents. Zones cannot contain both subzones and CNA agents.
• CNA agents cannot be assigned to the first level (parent or root) zone.
• The zone hierarchy must have at least two levels.
• The system supports a maximum of 500 zones (at all levels).
• Zone names must be unique within the hive.
• Zone names should describe the zones geographically, functionally, or any other way that makes the data meaningful.
