Figure 3 shows a sample zone hierarchy for root zone AV. This root zone has two subzones: APAC and US.
For zone AV, tests are run between the following subzones.
Tests are run at the test rate that is set for the test type. To set the test rate, use the rate command in Configuring a test. Each time the test is run, CNA chooses a different pair of subzones for the test. From each of the two subzones participating in the test, CNA randomly chooses one CNA agent to perform the test.
For zone APAC, tests are run between the following subzones. To conduct the test, CNA randomly chooses one CNA agent from each of the two subzones participating in the test.
NOTE: The following tests are not run for zone APAC because Malaysia does not contain any CNA agents:
For zone US, tests are run between the following subzones. To conduct the test, CNA randomly chooses one CNA agent from each of the two subzones participating in the test. Since Boston has no CNA agents assigned to it, a CNA agent is randomly chosen from one of its subzones, Concord or Waltham.
For zone Boston, tests are run between the following subzones. To conduct the test, CNA randomly chooses one CNA agent from each of the two subzones participating in the test.
