Overview
Decision policies
Decision policies make it possible for you:
- To give preferential treatment to traffic to subnets of special interest
- To divert traffic to subnets of limited or no interest from premium links
For example, you can configure decision policies to:
- Give certain subnets higher priority in the CNA measurement and scheduler queues. By prioritizing traffic to a specific subnet, route assertion for the subnet can be expedited.
- Designate different winner-set-width values for individual subnets, allowing you to control which links are accessible to individual subnets
- Designate different load policies for subnets
- Optimize your VPN traffic
Decision policies are configured on the APC (adaptive path controller) engine module.
