The engine module on the device can absorb 1000 measurements per second when configured with three service provider links and two BGP peerings, and with 100K prefixes.
If you add more links, more peers, and more prefixes in the BGP table, performance may be impacted.
If the sum of GIF images being served by all of your USTATs plus the sum of your active probes is greater than the engine’s absorption capacity, the excess measurements that are produced will be dropped. However, the remaining measurements should still constitute a representative sampling across all of your links, because of the cyclic nature of probes and USTAT rotation.
