Syslog Labels

Messages are assigned one of eight Syslog labels, depending on the intent of the message as determined by the developer who implemented the CNA process in which the message originates:

• Emergency
• Alert
• Critical
• Error
• Warning
• Notice
• Info
• Debug

Messages labeled Info or Debug are not generated by default. Use the debug command to enable these messages.
