Show Commands
CNA implements some two dozen show commands, which provide windows into the operation of the various CNA processes. While most, if not all, of these commands can be used to diagnose and resolve network or configuration anomalies, some are designed expressly as diagnostic/debugging tools:
- show debugging--displays a list of subsystems available for the debug command, and the status of each (whether debug is enabled or not)
- show diagbus--displays diagnostic bus and boot log information for the specified module; intended primarily for Avaya support engineers when you request assistance
- show local-debug--displays debug information about an individual (local) module
- show logging--displays contents of the logging buffer; can be filtered to show specific messages, or a specific number of messages
- show medic--displays information about various CNA processes that are monitored by the Medic process
- show statistics--displays detailed information about one of several CNA processes, which you specify on the command line
- show tech-support--displays diagnostic information about the current state of the CNA system
For more information about these commands, see their individual descriptions in the CNA Command Reference Guide.
