Medic Services

The Medic process monitors some two dozen internal CNA services and performs periodic health checks to make sure the system is functioning correctly.

In the event of failure of an individual service, the Medic process will log the event and attempt to restart the service.

Under certain circumstances, you will need to restart some of these services yourself.

Some services have user-configurable parameters, and some services have user-accessible routines that can be run. See the companion document, the CNA Command Reference, for more information about routines and parameters.

To see the current status of Medic routines and parameters, use the show medic command or view the monitor resources panel in the web user interface.
