The CNA event manager process, which runs on the management module, listens for special informational packets generated by the CNA decision-maker process and forwards them to an event log, as well as to the control panel in the web interface.
You can view the contents of the event log, or send it to a remote file location, with the show event command.
You can also view events in a CLI session as they are received by the event manager process, by using the eventdump command.
You can view or send events in either human-readable text form, or in binary form. Contact an Avaya support engineer for details about binary format.
