Diagnostic CLI Commands

Several CLI commands are available for diagnosing and debugging error conditions:

• messaging system--debug and logging CLI commands control the display of messages generated by various ANS5 processes
• medic process--the medic process continually monitors other CNA processes and reports on their status; certain processes can be restarted independently
• network traffic commands--CNA implementations of network diagnostic tools ping, tcpdump and traceroute
• show commands--windows into various CNA processes
