UUI through ASAI
Introduction
In CentreVu Internet Solutions configurations where an ITG is used for VoIP, the system sends UUI (User-to-User) information as part of the SETUP message from the ITG to the DEFINITY ECS.
With CentreVu Internet Solutions configurations that use VoIP gateways other than the ITG, the system passes UUI information to the DEFINITY ECS using the DEFINITY ECS Adjunct/Switch Applications Interface (ASAI ) Adjunct Routing feature. In CentreVu Internet Solutions, the CTI software acts as the Adjunct Router. When a VoIP session is initiated, the CTI attaches UUI information to the VoIP session, and then redirects the VoIP session to the new destination based on the ASAI digits associated with the VoIP session.
UUI through ASAI setup example
To use UUI through ASAI, you must add parameters to your customer Web page and create a vector on the DEFINITY ECS. The setup examples are based on the following information:
Value Description UUI=uuid123 This is the UUI ID. VDN=2000 This VDN contains the adjunct route step. VDN=3000 The CTI will route the call to this VDN. ASAI=1 This is the Adjunct Link between the CTI and the DEFINITY ECS. Customer Web page
Based on the "Setup example information" table, the customer Web page would have to contain the following parameters and values:
Internet Voice and Chat
For more information about Web pages, see the Web Page Guidelines documentation on the CVuIS ICC Software CD-ROM.
DEFINITY ECS Vector example
Based on the "Setup example information" table, your vector would look like the following:
Vector Step Description 1. Goto adjunct route link 1 This step routes the VoIP session to the CTI. 2. Wait time 60 seconds hearing silence This step give the CTI 60 seconds to reroute the VoIP session. 3. Stop
